Gratitude and Living a Life of Openness

Our Foundation of Mindfulness classes start soon, offering a comprehensive set of teachings on mindfulness and how to begin living a Zen-inspired life that leads to a deeper love and resilience based on joy and compassion. In these classes you will discover that meditation may not be easy to do. It requires patience. And patience is based on trust. To find the deeper truth and love of who you really are, requires letting go and trusting that life is enough. Your life is a seed that will flower if you take good care of it.

Practicing mindfulness and meditation is how you can take good care of your life and water the seed that will become a flower. Through these simple classes on mindfulness, you will be introduced to a witnessing awareness which is your deeper, truer self. Although you and I are aging, that deeper truth of who we are, that witnessing awareness is ageless because it is outside of time.

To trust this, is to know who you are and when you know who you are, you know what to do. Each of us is a gift waiting to be unwrapped, To live a life of openness is the first milestone of gratitude, on the spiritual path of Zen. Gratitude arises naturally in circumstances of scarcity. It’s not just about the good times we have. It’s about the suffering we all experience as human beings that gives us the opportunity to grow and to learn how to let go into a deeper grace, a deeper love for ourselves and each other. So with patience and trust in the truth of who we are, we can even learn to be grateful for our suffering.

Come to this class. The world needs your heart open. The world needs your love. The world needs you awake.
